The Renewable Energy Centre Mithradham was called into being through the initiatives of Mrs. Rosemarie Zaiser, Stuttgart-Germany, and Dr. George Peter Pittappillil, Kerala-India.
Mrs. Zaiser is president of the VeV, a charitable association that started in 1995 with the objectives of promoting intercultural dialogue, education and research, social and charitable institutions and environment protection in developing countries. The main targets of the VeV are the overall management, the integration, coordination nd information of partners, sponsors or interested parties, the conceptional plannings and least not llast the project organisation and supervision. As Vice President of the VeV, Mrs. Marte-Lowe supports Mrs. Zaiser in all business affairs.
Dr. Pittappillil is the Director of the Renewable Energy Centre in Mithradham managing the realisation, demonstration and support of the projects. Training programmes, workshops, exhibitions as well as promotions are examples of the various events.
The framework for the Management of the Renewable Energy Centre shows how the various activities interact. Within this framework, a circle of patrons was founded to maintain and intensify the contacts to trustworthy individuals and with industrial, political and religious institutions involved in development oriented projects.
